About the Series
A collection of abstract expressionism works from 2016-2018. “Expect nothing and enjoy the process” was the philosophy behind these works of art that I now apply to my daily life. The process involved a combination of dancing to music while finger painting with acrylics the entire duration of a song. Each painting was completed in under 5 minutes. The series name Wild Child comes from the idea that finger painting is often associated with children. While creating these works, it felt like my inner child came out to play with absolutely no rules in place. Just a child that was being wild and free. When looking at these works of art, it’s important to look at them with the eyes of your inner child and allow your imagination to unfold. These paintings have taught me to never lose that wonder. The wonder of a wild child.
